How I Spent My Blogger Vacation.

Yes I've been gone. Yes, I'm back. Yes, I'll probably unexpectedly leave for an undisclosed amount of time. Yes, it still won't matter because no one reads this. For once, rather than be ashamed of my absence, I figured I would share with you everything else that I did while I obviously wasn't blogging. So in no particular order:

What I Did While I (Obviously) Wasn't Blogging:
  • Had Lisa's little sister Laurie as a house guest for a week over her spring break. We laughed, we cried, and we might have have even learned something about ourselves.
  • Saw the Colorado Rockies beat the San Diego Padres in their home opener at Coors Field.
  • Became INCREDIBLY addicted to TheFacebook.com (Click here to Facebook Me)
  • Wrote a "short, short story" for creative writing class (Click here to read it in the Notebook)
  • wrote a 7 page research paper ("In Between Watching and Being: Parody in The Real Inspector Hound"), a 10 page review essay ("The Story of a City: Tom Noel's Denver, The City and the Saloon"), a 7 minute long oral report ("The Five Poetic Phases of William Butler Yeats"), and the aforementioned short, short story, and had 2 tests all within a 8 day period. (PITY ME)
  • Went to the Car Show in Denver
  • Saw (and rated) the following movies. A star (*) indicated a movie I saw for the first time.
    • The Graduate* 9/10
    • Get Over It 8/10
    • Flight of the Phoenix (2005)* 7.5/10
    • Gimme Shelter* 8/10
    • The Truman Show 8.5/10
    • National Treasure 8/10
    • Lara Croft: Tomb Raider* 8/10
    • Lara Croft: Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life* 7/10
    • Eulogy* 5/10
    • Napoleon Dynamite* 9/10
    • Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind* 9.5/10
    • The Incredibles (9/10)
    • Collateral* 8/10
    • Legally Blonde* 6.5/10
    • The Stepford Wives (2004)* 7.5/10
    • Star Wars Clone Wars (The Animated Micro Series)* 8/10
    • (And probably a few more I am forgetting...)
  • Experienced the pure joy of a 43 inch plasma screen TV at Lisa's parents' house over spring break.
  • Painted my old bedroom and realized that in Hell, in the special room reserved for murderers and betrayers, the punishment will be eternally removing wall paper.
  • Became thoroughly addicted to NCAA March Madness.
  • Tweaked the arrangement of things here on the Island and gave the Notebook a new, minimalist, theme.
  • Didn't get a job.
See? I was busy. Let see how long I can post "regularly" this time, shall we?

Yours Eventually,
Sancho
